Abaco Beach Resort

Probably the premier resort in the Abacos, we had to stop and check out Abaco Beach Resort.

While the setting wasn’t as picturesque as some, the facilities were right up there and squeezing in between two fishing tournaments meant there was plenty of hoopla on the docks and a lot of extra Mahi Mahi floating around which the fishing boats were happy to drop off if they thought you’d like some.

We had an impromptu fish fry courtesy of Phil and Gary and one of the fishing boats.

The location allowed for walks, we found a nice gazebo on property overlooking the Sea of Abaco, there was a beach, and a nice pool area if you dodged the flying umbrellas.  Plus there was laundry at reasonable rates, so most of us got that done.
